Senior Designer – Structural

ASA are partnering with a positive proactive Energy Company to find Structural Designers for a variety of projects.

Execute structural discipline design activities within budget and schedule, while maintaining technical integrity. Hybrid working is available and the role will be split between their Aberdeen office and home / remote working.

You will be responsible for:

• Execute design and draughting activities (Concept, FEED, Technical Study & Detailed Design)
• Prepare structural drawings and design deliverables to the required technical quality with minimum input from engineering personnel
• Carry out work in accordance with project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
• Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the MoC Process
• Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
• Assist the Lead Designer and others when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties

What you’ll need to succeed

• Structural design experience, Oil & Gas preferred but not essential, in delivery of Structural/Civils projects
• Highly competent in the use of Autodesk Design projects
• Demonstrable experience in Detailed Design Engineering and Engineering Checking
• Right to work in the UK
• Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS M MIST
• Excellent written and spoken English
