Lead DC Surveyor

Description

ASA are partnering with a positive proactive Energy Company to find Senior Dimension Control Surveyors for a variety of projects.

Working as part of a Survey team, you will undertake technical surveying support and survey workscopes as well as performing checking and approval of DC Surveyor deliverables and piping deliverables from a controlled dimensional perspective.

Hybrid working is available and the role will be split between their Aberdeen office and home / remote working.

You will be responsible for:

• Execute all survey activities (Concept, FEED, Technical Study & Detailed Design)
• Prepare survey deliverables from agreed workscopes with minimum input from engineering personnel
• Assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance
• Carry out work in accordance with project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
• Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the MoC Process
• Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
• Maintain good communication with the client and carry our site visits and site surveys when necessary

What you’ll need to succeed

• Highly competent in the use of Autodesk Design product
• Delivery of pertinent technical computations and generate drawings of sketches depicting the surveyed information in accordance with client requirement defined in the workscope
• Right to work in the UK
• Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS M MIST
• Excellent written and spoken English
