Are you an Electrical Senior Designer looking for a new challenge within the energy sector?
ASA Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Electrical Designer for a position within the ever expanding and exciting Energy Sector. Contractor Roles are also available.
Your new role
Working as part of a design team, the Senior Designer produces and checks engineering design deliverables. The Senior Designer is responsible for ensuring that designs meet project requirements.
Execute Electrical discipline design activities within budget and schedule, while maintaining technical integrity.
Objectives
Execute design and drafting activities (Concept, Front End Engineering Development, Technical Study & Detailed Design). Prepare Electrical drawings and designs from agreed work scopes with minimum input from engineering personnel.
You will be responsible for
· Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.
· Ensure that designs comply with the relevant procedures and regulations.
· Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the MoC Process.
· Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule.

· Carry out site surveys when necessary.
· Assist the Lead Engineer and others when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties.
What you’ll need to succeed
· HNC or HND in relevant engineering discipline (Preferred)
· Previous demonstrable experience in detailed design (Mandatory)
· Experience in design checking (Preferred)
· Demonstrable knowledge of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards
· Understanding of the application of Autodesk Design products (Mandatory)
· Excellent written and spoken English (Mandatory)
· Survival BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS (Mandatory)
· Competent in the use of MS Office applications
