Are you an experienced IT Services Manager looking for a new challenge in the Public Sector?

ASA Recruitment are working with Scotland’s largest public sector clients to source an experienced and highly capable Technical Service Manager, this role is suitable for candidates based anywhere in Scotland.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• Responsible for the support and improvement of a key strategic platform, guaranteeing service availability and performance
• Continuously improving the platform while covering incident, problem, demand and change management
• Engaging with a variety of stakeholders ranging from technical architects and suppliers to end users and business owners
• Working with Technical Platform Owners to improve the service while gathering feedback from users and using it collaboratively with different areas of the organisation

So, what are we looking for?

• Demonstrable experience of technical service delivery in an ITIL environment
• Experience of managing multi-disciplinary IT teams
• Experience of using collected feedback data to assess service performance
• Previous experience of .NET, ASP.NET and C# would be advantageous and Java, SQL, HTML would be beneficial
