Are you an experienced Financial Manager looking for a new challenge in the Public Sector?

ASA Recruitment are working with an environmentally focussed client in the Public Sector to source an experienced and highly capable Financial Services Manager. This role is primarily home based but may require occasional travel to Stirling.

If you started in this role today you would…

• Be managing the daily activities of the Finance Services team, making sure that agreed timescales and deadlines are met and delivered to a highly professional standard
• Oversee all aspects of the finance transactions service including payroll, expenses, accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, cash and banking services
• Encourage excellent financial skills and good practice across the team and organisation as a whole
• Establish and maintain appropriate financial management and reporting systems that enable high level financial performance management whilst meeting regulatory requirements

So, what are we looking for?

• You will be a professionally qualified Finance Manager with membership of a recognised body, i.e. CCAB, undertaking all financial tasks in line with UK best practice
• Experience of leading financial teams effectively
• Experience of delivering service level and financial targets
• Thorough understanding of how to manage income and cash flow
• Experience of producing financial reports
