Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer looking to find your next challenge in one of Scotland’s fastest expanding markets?

ASA Recruitment are working in partnership with the PD&MS group to recruit an experienced Senior Mechanical engineer for a hybrid home/office permanent position within the ever expanding and exciting Energy Sector.

This role would see the successful candidate…

· Direction and supervision of Engineers and Designers
· Providing immediate identification to Lead Engineer of any issue that has the potential to cause change or growth to any area of the project or study, in comparison to the original design intent / deliverables required
· Working closely with a hardworking, flat structured team to deliver Production of cost effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to both PD&MS and the end Client
· Constantly Ensuring operational and maintenance issues are addressed in the design. Seeking input from operations and maintenance personnel
· Conducting key Surveys, both onshore and offshore, to determine information to allow execution of workscopes
· Providing key Input to project plans and schedules
· Working constantly to Ensure compliance with applicable Industry Codes and Standards, HSE Alerts, Statutory Instruments, Establishing order of precedence on a project-by-project basis.

So, what are we looking for?

· A proven track record of development of people
· BSc or equivalent in relevant Engineering Discipline and Chartered Engineer status
· Understanding of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards
· Key Understanding of the application of Autodesk Design products
· Demonstrable experience in Detailed Design Engineering
