We are currently working with a well-known care home group to support one of their sites in Laurencekirk. The home offers care to twenty two residents and has fantastic surroundings with their own gardens with patio areas for residents and their family and friends to enjoy. Shifts are often up to 12 hours 8-8 day time or night time.

Responsibilities of the role may include:
· Assisting with immediate personal needs of residents such as washing, dressing and personal hygiene
· Safe use of moving equipment along with safe manual moving and handling
· Light domestic duties where required
· Supporting at mealtimes
· Encouraging participation in planned activities and events
· Assisting with medication

Requirements for applicants:
· Essential 6 months UK based Healthcare experience
· Ability to work on your own initiative and prioritise your tasks
· Motivated to make positive change for others
· Strong listening and communication skills
· PVG certificate – update required for existing PVG members or new application of not already held
· 6 months to register with SSSC from date of employment

Our current pay rates are from £12 per hour as well as holiday pay accrued from your very first shift. Our dedicated, knowledgeable Healthcare consultants are and available 7 days a week including an on call service for evenings and weekends.
