Are you an IT system implementation specialist looking for a new challenge with Scotland’s largest Public Sector client?

ASA Recruitment are working with The Scottish Government to source an experienced and highly capable IT support and system implementation specialist, this role is suitable for candidates based anywhere in Scotland.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• You’d be organising and implementing the delivery of a document management system overhaul to assist with the largescale public inquiry
• Working with the procurement and IT team to find an appropriate product and solution to manage thousands of documents and recognise patterns within them
• You’d be liaising with the supplier to ensure that the system works efficiently
• Supporting legal colleagues by effectively managing their IT requirements for incoming documents to ensure legalities are followed
• You would also be aiding in the development and operation of the government website, to ensure that the inquiry runs smoothly

So, what are we looking for?

• Qualified to degree level (or hold acceptable equivalent qualifications, experience and knowledge) in a document management or system implementation background
• To have working knowledge of document management systems and experience of managing IT projects
• Appropriate, relevant experience of successfully working in system implementation and/or managing projects, ideally within a large complex organisation
• Excellent IT, communication, interpersonal and project management skills
