Are you an Estates Manager or experienced Facilities Manager looking for a new challenge within the Public Sector?

ASA Recruitment are working with Glasgow Clyde College to source an experienced and highly capable Head of Estates, this role is suitable for candidates based in Glasgow and the surrounding area.

If you started in this role today you would be…

• You’d be managing and co-ordinating exciting new-build projects across the College’s three student campuses
• Ensuring that projects are managed to an excellent standard to improve the look and feel of each campus
• You will be delivering KPIs to the existing facilities teams on each campus and monitoring these KPIs to ensure they are run both smoothly and safely
• Developing and implementing the College’s estates strategy, advising on key estates related investment decisions to ensure objectives are met

So, what are we looking for?

• Qualified to degree level (or hold acceptable equivalent qualifications, experience and knowledge) in an estates, building or facilities management related discipline
• To have working knowledge of build environments and experience of managing construction projects
• Appropriate, relevant experience of successfully delivering estates projects and/or managing multiple and concurrent projects ideally within a multi-site organisation
• Excellent management, communication, influencing, negotiating, facilitation and interpersonal skills
