IT Support Analyst

Description

Are you an experienced IT Support Analyst now looking for a new role in Lanarkshire? Are you looking to build on your Infrastructure and Network Support experience to the next stage of your career?

Our client is looking to grow out their existing IT infrastructure, and we need you to join their team!

What will you be doing?

· Monitoring systems to proactively identify infrastructure and service issues for escalation to 2nd line.
· Provide first line support to the business through management of incidents and service requests raised through Service Desk tickets.
· Ensuring tickets are resolved within target SLA
· Documentation of all communication within the Service Desk tickets
· Creation and updating of Service Desk knowledgebase articles
· Advocating the use of the Service Desk and ensuring all ad-hoc support requests are progressed via a ticket.
· Provide remote and desk-side support to end users
· Supporting users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice
· Facilitate support for 2nd line and 3rdline/party support
· Support both business and IT projects on the roadmap
· Procurement of IT hardware and software
· Assist in ensuring IT systems and processes are secure and aligned with best practice

We also look for experience with…

· Strong Windows 7 desktop OS experience
· Experience working in a help Desk to an agreed SLA, preferably in an ITIL environment
· Day to day working knowledge of Active Directory Users and Computers
· Awareness of user, security and license administration of Office 365 stack (Exchange, Skype For Business, SharePoint)
