Laundry Worker

ASA are recruiting for a Laundry Worker to join our team to work within a residential home for young adults with leaning difficulties in the AB12 area of Aberdeen. This position would suit someone looking for morning, week day hours, with the possibility of additional work on a Saturday. The shift times are flexible and would cover 4 to 5 hours work per day.

ASA can offer you the opportunity to accrue holiday pay from your very first shift as well as competitive pay rates. We have a supportive team of consultants who are dedicated to supporting you every step of the way and an additional on call service which runs seven days a week.

This position will see you using the on-site industrial washing machines and dryers to launder personal items and linens on behalf of the home. You will be responsible for ensuring the laundry is kept up to date as well as folding and sorting of the items for returning to the students.

To apply to this role you should be:
· Experienced and knowledgeable in this work area
· Hard working and confident in working independently
· Organised and have good attention to detail
· Not afraid of some physical work folding items
· Able to provide 2 references for previous work
· A member of PVG scheme or willing to obtain prior to employment
