ASA Recruitment are working on behalf of our client in Aberdeen to recruit a full time Interim Marketing Manager.
You should be a creative individual with experience of developing campaigns and initiatives to educate and engage consumers.
The role will start working from home until restrictions allow to return to the office your duties will include:-
· Developing the client’s strategy, plans and programmes for modern & engaging education materials and deliverables in collaboration with colleagues, ensuring the strategy addresses health inequalities in our society.
· Developing, managing and evaluating an education resources marketing campaign working closely with the agencies involved to reach the clients audiences and inform future marketing approaches.
· Developing the client’s programme of involvement in educational events to engage with teachers and promote the organisation resources. Prepare quality content for the various programmes and deliverables.
· Managing and delivering an engaging and exciting package of online, digital and other education resources to ensure a good experience for users/pupils and teachers searching for resources, including the ability to use search filters to choose activities relevant to what they are looking for. Ensure the activities are fit for purpose for lesson planning and align with the Curriculum for Excellence and that our resources are on modern digital platforms and fully accessible.
· Preparing briefs for colleagues including the Board and on occasion external audiences, related to the education sector based on policy objectives and commissioned insight e.g. teacher’s panels.
As the Marketing Manager you will have the following essential experience:-
· A ‘can do’ attitude and ability to take the initiative and make decisions based on the evidence available.
· Strong communication and writing skills and confidence in dealing and negotiating with a range of people at all levels, particularly external stakeholders.
· Familiarity with both the food and education landscapes within Scotland.
· Ability to interpret data and research findings and develop learning into robust, actionable strategies and plans
You will be working a full time 37 hour week, Monday – Friday.
