ASA Recruitment are working with a large public sector business and are currently looking for a Service Desk Analyst with experience in providing 2nd line support via an IT Service Desk ticket and queue management service.
Essential skills to be successful in this role:
o ITIL compliant
o Excellent communication skills
o Able to clear cache’s
o Experience with a variety of devices and applications including:
· MacBook’s
· Chromebooks
· Blackberry’s
· Android
· SCCM
· O365
· Windows, IOS and Android, Chromebook system administration
· Repurposing mobile devices and testing printers and peripherals
Desired skills to be successful in this role:
o Experience in an IT service delivery role using practical application of ITIL to meet challenging service targets
o Good analytical skills to be able to scrutinise issues and draw conclusions and interpretations from the information available to plan and deliver solutions for customers.
o A commitment to continual service improvement; you will be willing to challenge established practices, using evidence to deliver a better services to customers
o The ability to communicate and engage with people across a range of grades and knowledge, quickly grasping the issues and providing answers in a non-technical format as possible
This role offers a secure 4 month contract, with the potential to extend to a maximum of 23 months, working Monday to Friday for a public sector organisation based in Glasgow with remote working for the foreseeable future.
