Build Analyst

Description

ASA Recruitment are working with a large business within the public sector and are currently looking for an IT Technical Build Team Analyst with experience in an IT service delivery role.

In this role you will be expected to build and maintain hardware and software, provide internal IT support and proactively fix any technical problems as well as improve team capability.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Setup, maintenance and decommissioning of laptops, mobile phones, multi-functional printers, video/ audio conferencing and networking equipment.
• Supporting end users with incidents related to hardware faults of devices and peripherals.
• On site network testing and issue resolution
• Software and hardware asset management including liaising with suppliers on recycling of broken hardware and the secure disposal of hardware damaged beyond repair.
• Providing technical support for corporate events and technical projects.
• Providing 2^nd line support via the IT Service Desk ticket and queue management system for the above services.
• Contributing to improving team capability through documenting and sharing knowledge with team colleagues, coaching peers and more junior colleagues on processes and technologies.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience in an IT service delivery role
• Experience working with Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Blackberry Mobile Device Management accessibility and assistive technologies.
• A commitment to continual service improvement; you will be willing to challenge established practices, using evidence to deliver a better service to our customers.

This role offers a secure 6 month contract working 37 hours Monday to Friday with a large scale public sector client within the central belt.
