ASA’s Recruitment’s well-known Public Sector client is seeking a Senior HR Officer for an initial 4 month contract with the possibility of extension there after. The postholder will provide support to the Human Resources Business Support team which looks over employee relations activity, policy and process development, establishment control and Directorate support.
Responsibilities include:
· Provide advice on complex issues and ensure that they are resolved in an efficient and timely manner
· Undertake project management and process development in line with the relevant legislation/policies
· Support establishment control protocols
· Offer Business Partnering support to wider Directorates
· Liaise confidently with key stakeholders at all levels
Requirements:
· Experience of providing high level administrative support to Senior Management
· Ability to operate at a supervisory/senior level and working in a team delivering results
· Experience of maintaining computerised records/systems and of producing reports and statistics
· Project Management experience
· Experience of managing both administrative volume and complex HR issues as they arise
· Knowledge of legal frameworks including Equality and Diversity, Freedom of Information, GDPR
· Experience of employment law, immigration, equal opportunities
