Are you an experienced Mental Health Officer looking for a new opportunity?

ASA Recruitment are looking Mental Health Officers to help provide responsive and needs led service across Scotland. The successful candidate with provide a high standard of Mental Health Officer and Social Work practice that ensures appropriate services are provided.

Responsibilities:
· Manage caseload of varying degrees of complexity and maintain case records
· Respond to Social Work and Mental Health Officers’ Statutory obligations
· Support, counsel and work proactively with service users and carers
· Liaise with colleagues from other agencies both internal and external
· Implement , monitor and review care plans, record unmet need and care manage complex cases
· Provide reports for case conferences and other forums to a high degree of accuracy
· Provide duty and standby cover, respond effectively to duty calls and make initial assessments
· Participate in monitoring and evaluation of service delivery
· Provide information/advice/opinions regarding Mental Health Legislation

Requirements:
· Degree in Social Work or other recognised Social Work Qualification
· Registered with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and relevant post qualifying award in Mental Health
· PVG Membership
· Hold a current driving license and have access to a vehicle
· Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation
· Experience working with at least one Community Care Client group
· Experience of supervising the work of others
· Experience of care planning and care management
