eLearning Support Officer

Are you an experienced eLearning Support Officer ready for your next contract in the Scottish public sector?

Our client are currently looking for a temporary eLearning Support Officer to provide troubleshooting and support for end users while using enhanced learning technologies. In depth problem solving, excellent communication skills and knowledge of educational support systems involved.

Essential Criteria:

1. Good verbal and written communication skills, possessing good common sense and clear and accurate documentation or written reports.
2. A strong team player, capable of building effective relationships with colleagues.
3. Attention to detail and efficiency in delivering work to time and quality, with clear guidance and supervision.
4. Excellent problem solving skills – the ability to troubleshoot complex issues for a variety of services.
5. Experience of advising customers and working to best meet the needs of a diverse user base and deliver customer satisfaction.
6. Strong and demonstrable customer focus with confidence and energy to support colleagues.

Desirable Criteria:

Understanding best-practice for service management, including knowledge of the incident and problem management process.
Experience of supporting educational, and media online systems. Systems in use include:
· VLEs – Blackboard Learn and Moodle
· Turnitin – including Grademark
· PebblePad
· Top Hat
· Collaborate
· Questionmark Perception
· WordPress
· Media Management – Echo360 and Kaltura
· Experience of managing wikis, blogs and mailing lists.
