Are you an experienced communicator, looking to play an essential part in the organisation of a major public sector body?

ASA are looking for a Public Relations Officer to join the public sector in Glasgow. This contract opportunity would be perfect for an individual who has the experience, credibility and people skills to work autonomously

The Role:

• Work closely with the business and its employees creating content, media releases and press materials
• Ensure high quality, editorial advice and guidance on a range of corporate publications and channels produced within the organisation
• Take the lead on a large scale sustainability and environmental project dealing with journalist and press enquiries
• Support the delivery of communications activity encouraging behavioural change among citizens and working alongside stakeholders and partners

Successful candidates for the Public Relations Officer role will need:

• Experience of supporting the delivery of corporate communications, marketing campaigns and corporate events
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and meet targets
• Knowledge of the media landscape and the ability to build working relationships with the press and stakeholders
• Experience of an environmental or sustainability background would be a major benefit
