Data Architect/Engineer

Are you an experienced Data Architect ready for your next contract in the Scottish public sector?

Our client are currently looking for a contract Data Architect to provide expert skills in data architecting and engineering for the integration of new data sets and enhancements of existing data sets.

Including Data Sets to manage operations and performance of various Covid-19 workstreams such as Test & Protect, Vaccinations, Procurement and scenario modelling. There will be a need to work closely with the wider data and analytics team on the integration of data sets and in supporting the build analytics that sit on top of the data sets.

Essential Criteria:

– Data architecting (Kimball methodology)
– Data engineering (data integration/wrangling/ETL)
– Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
– SAP Data Services (experience of other ETL tools such as Informatica will be considered as a substitute)

Desirable Criteria:

– Denodo Data Virtualisation
– Tableau
– BusinessObjects
