Technical Traffic Officer

Description

ASA Recruitment are currently looking for a technical traffic officer to assist one of our key clients with a back log in traffic regulation orders.

Duties
· Preparation and co-ordination of traffic regulation orders
· Liaise with internal stakeholders, including, Traffic & Development Officers, Members and Area Operation teams
· Consultation with external stakeholders, including non-statutory pre-engagement. This may include open days or other engagement methods.
· Working with staff, to scope out possibilities and options to further digitise the TRO processing including mapping of Orders etc.

Candidate
· HND, Degree or appropriate equivalent in Civil Engineering or similar
· Experience of traffic regulation orders
· 3 years’ experience in a technical role in a roads environment
· Full UK drivers licence
