ASA Recruitment are working with our well known public sector client to source an experienced Finance Assistant. The successful candidate will be taken on for an initial 6 month contract based in Edinburgh.
Responsibilities:
· Download the daily Bank Account statement and allocate funds received to the relevant establishments
· Process daily funds transfers to establishments relating to monies received in to bank account
· Arrange for funds that cannot be allocated to be returned to the senders account
· Management and reconciliation of all accounts relating to funds on the financial system
Requirements:
· Experience of utilising Microsoft Office
· Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to analyse a wide range of information
· Experience of accessing and processing information using online banking
· Experience of using a windows based finance package
