Janitor

Description

ASA Recruitment are working on behalf of a major public sector client in Aberdeen to recruit full time Janitors on a temporary basis to work at various sites throughout the city.

As a janitor your key tasks will include:-

· Opening and closing of buildings
· Ensuring work areas are left in a safe and secure manner
· Ensuring only authorised and approved cleaning materials are used in line with current procedures
· Carrying out all required janitorial duties
· Check, use, maintain and report defects for all equipment used

You should be confident that you will be able to:-

· Have the appropriate level of health and fitness to carry out the tasks of the job
· Be competent in the use of all equipment issued
· Be competent in the use of all cleaning products used
· Have the ability to operate access control systems, intruder alarm systems and CCTV systems
· Have the ability to operate heating, hot water and swimming pool plant if required

This role is full time, working an 8 hour day, Monday to Friday. Training will be provided for you upon starting the role.

PLEASE NOTE – You must have a PVG (Children’s) or be willing to obtain one, prior to commencement of placement.
