Are you a qualified Accountant looking for your next contract in Edinburgh?

Our high profile, public sector client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to assist with the corporate budget.

This is a 12 month contract and will be working remotely for the foreseeable.

Responsibilities:

· Reporting forecast outturns to the board
· Create monthly reports
· Assist in monitoring the budget position and ensure that additional funding requirements have been through appropriate levels
· Support annual financial planning including completion and submission of financial plans

Requirements:

· Membership of CCAB professional body (or equivalent)
· Experienced within all aspects of management accounting
· Excellent people management skills
· The ability to analyse and evaluate information
· Experience in a senior finance role within the public sector
· A Basic Disclosure certificate
