Band 6 Physiotherapist – MSK

The locum Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist desired by our client in Orkney will work with hospital outpatients and referred individuals who have experienced an injury or are living with a condition that predominantly impacts their muscles, bones and joints. Not only do MSK Physiotherapists work to assess and treat their client’s immediate musculoskeletal problems but they are also responsible, in many cases, for helping to signpost to other relevant services, focussing on improving their patients’ lives. Other services could include those also within healthcare and social care such as GPs, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.

Our Orkney based client”s ideal locum Band 6 Physiotherapist will have a passion for working in MSK and be available to work on their scenic island for a minimum of six weeks. They will be able to use their competency in the field of MSK to hold regular clinics alongside additional physiotherapy duties to make difference to Orkney”s community.

Providing free accommodation and reimbursing travel expenses of up to £500 if required, our client is seeking a proactive Band 6 Physiotherapist to begin as soon as possible on a locum basis. To be considered for this position you must have the following:

· Full-time availability
· Educated to a degree level or higher in Physiotherapy
· Experience working as a Band 6 in MSK
· Membership with the PVG scheme and a willingness to undergo an update
