Mechanical Fitter

Description

Are you an experienced mechanical fitter with specific experience of John Deere equipment, who takes pride in ensuring that you carry out your role to the highest quality standards?

If so, then we would like to speak to you about an exciting opportunity which has arisen within the repairs department of one of our public funded clients.

Initially scheduled to 3 months – with a high probability of extension for the right candidate – based in the Greater Glasgow area, this role requires a proactively minded individual who is confident working alone to ensure the safe and effective operation of all equipment.

DUTIES

· Carry out proactive maintenance on small plant equipment including generators, and John Deere lawnmowers.
. To carry out in depth fault finding diagnostics and repair.
· To liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and resolution of any faults or malfunctions.
· Record and maintain accurate records for all plant in which a fault is found.
