ASA are delighted to represent a globally recognised organisation based in the Dunbartonshire area who are looking to bring on an ambitious and motivated accounting professional into their shared service centre. Our client are looking to appoint a strong Accounts Payable Senior to join their ever growing organisation.

This position would be ideal for an AP specialist who has a strong background within a senior capacity or alternatively someone with strong Accounts Payable experience who is excited to step up into a more senior role and can demonstrate previous leadership qualities in some capacity.

The primary tasks of the Accounts Payable Senior position will include:

– Processing a large volume of purchase invoices in order to meet targets successfully
– Liaising with colleagues from across departments in order to meet deadlines
– Supervising members of the accounts payable team to make sure all tasks are completed in a time effective manner
– Reporting in to the Accounts Payable Manager and working to ensure the team is as effective as possible
– Building and maintaining lasting relationships within the company, ensuring information is effectively shared throughout the team

The Ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Senior role should possess:

– A strong background in purchase to pay processes and controls
– A minimum of three years’ experience in an Accounts Payable position, ideally within a shared service centre of large organisation environment
– Experience of manage and prioritise workloads on both a team and individual level
– A high level of organisation in order to successfully meet deadlines
– A background in liaising with colleagues across departments and working in a cooperative manner

This role offers a competitive salary and benefit package including a strong bonus scheme, life insurance, a competitive holiday entitlement and a great pension scheme. Core working hours for this role will be 8-5.
