Are you an experience Finance Assistant looking for your next contract in Edinburgh?
ASA are looking for a Finance Assistant to take responsibility for the BACS supplier payment runs in a busy finance department within a high profile public sector organisation for an initial 3 month contract.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare BACS supplier payment runs
· Review user input into the payables ledger
· Maintain the cashbook function
· Deal with supplier queries by phone and email
· Check and verify documentation received for payment
· General administrative duties
Requirements:
· A current finance qualification (or working towards)
· Experience of Accounts Payable and/or Cashier functions
· A background in a role within a busy finance function
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to analyse financial information
· A Basic Disclosure
