GIS/Roads Data Technician

ASA Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious public funded organisation for an GIS/Roads Data Technician who can support our team to develop and maintain our asset management databases and support the roll out of digital technology across the organisation

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will require to have a sound understanding of the ESRI GIS platform including:

· Data management in enterprise geodatabases (SQL Server)
· Demonstrable experience of editing tools within ArcGIS Desktop (ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap) for maintaining large datasets
· Use and configuration of embedded GIS within third-party systems e.g. Symology Insight
· Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise – Server and Portal to deliver GIS capability to end users
· Knowledge of ArcGIS Online especially mobile/field applications – Collector, Workforce and Survey123
· .Handheld / Mobile introduction and setup
· Microsoft software mainly Access, excel experience and word
· Roads assets background
· Symology experience.
· Gazetteer Experience if possible.
· Road adoption process.
· Experience of road inspection process for footway setup.
