Care at Home Support workers have a unique job which no other can describe, trying to make sure you touch and brighten up the lives of the vulnerable adult you attend to on a daily basis which leaves you feeling good about yourself and the vulnerable adult receiving a high standard of care.
Support Workers cover a wide range of tasks if you can:
· Deliver high standards of care, whilst promoting independence
· Support with all tasks needed including personal care, preparing meals, prompting medications, light general housekeeping and if required shopping and more
· Communicate with clients, their family and any professional person involved
· Treat every individual as they are and follow their own person centred care plans to help you understand them.
· Be patient with a can-do attitude with an ability to work under pressure
