ASA Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Bricklayers / Stonemasons who are looking for their next opportunity. These are long term PAYE contracts which offer up to 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. (hours can vary)

You will be assisting in the provision of building maintenance and response by carrying out repairs, servicing and upgrading residential and commercial properties across Aberdeen City.

You will be carrying out general duties of a qualified Bricklayer / Stonemason including:

× Building with granite, brickwork, blockwork and laying paving slabs
× Working on domestic, commercial and industrial premises including schools and sheltered housing
× Taking instructions and undertaking allocated work from all levels of management
× Compliance with health and safety regulations
× Building and maintaining of positive working relationships with internal customers and external clients

You must be skilled in:

× Safe working practices
× Working from drawings
× Monitoring situations, such as weather and what other trades people are doing in order to make adjustments and plan workload
× Having a good eye for detail
× Taking pride in their work
× Team work

In order to be considered for this position you must:

× Be a time served Bricklayer / Stonemason with relevant trade papers
× Be in possession of a valid CSCS card
× Hold a full UK driving licence and
× Have own transport and tools
