Do you have experience in developing cyber security standards? Are you looking to start the New Year with an exciting contract?

ASA is looking for a Cyber Security Adviser to work for a high profile, public sector organisation in central Edinburgh for an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities:

· Review, quality assure and provide expert advice and support to the development of and implementation of a number of key ongoing cyber resilience projects
· Ensure that cyber security standards, frameworks and audit comes together coherently
· Quality assure work that is being done within the team
· Contribute to expert policy development
· Work closely with stakeholders to develop the audit methodology/framework
· Bring expertise to influence policy on key cyber resilience issues

Requirements:

· Experience of developing and implementing cyber security standards, guidance, frameworks and audit practise with a focus on NCSC standards
· Knowledge in drafting high quality documents in support of cyber resilience policy development
· Qualification in information security management and system auditing (CISM, CISA or equivalent)
· Experience of conducting cyber risk assessment audits and mitigation measures
· Sound knowledge of public sector cyber security requirements
