ASA are in the process of recruiting experienced Care Assistants for the Lanarkshire area and we are looking for energetic, forward thinking and self-motivated individuals to join our team and provide the highest standards of care within a fast paced working environment.

Our Care Assistants are expected to:

• Have an understanding of Nursing, Residential and Dementia care settings
• Follow personalised care plans in detail to ensure the service user requirements are met
• Liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents
• Have a compassionate and caring attitude to supporting residents
• Ability to record patient observations accurately and report any issues of concern

To be considered for the Care Assistant role, it is essential that you:

• Have worked in a care setting for a minimum of 6 months
• Provide two satisfactory work references, one being from a care background
• Have experience of moving and handling, working with Hoists and Stand aids
• Have a current PVG (an update for ASA will be required)
• Are SSSC registered or be willing to register within 6 months
