Catering Assistant

Due to continued success in working with our clients throughout Glasgow and the surrounding areas, ASA are delighted to be recruiting for Catering Assistants to provide additional support into our clients care homes and day centres in the local area. We currently have opportunities in Rutherglen, Paisley and Dumbarton.

Successful catering assistants have demonstrated good working knowledge of food and hygiene practices and maintained a clean, safe and effective environment for service users and staff.

As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the cook in the kitchen with the preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner for the residents. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen by keeping the working areas clean and tidy at all times.

In order to be considered for the role of Catering Assistant, you will have at least 3-6 months UK based experience in a similar role.

Shifts are available 7 days a week with various working hours.
