ASA Recruitment are working with large scale public sector client in Glasgow to find a Capital and Fixed Asset Accountant to deliver a programme of work that will have implications for every household in Scotland.

This is an interim position that falls inside of IR35

The Capital and Fixed Asset Accountant Role

• Focusing on the transfer of key assets to a brand new to market government department
• Maintain the departments fixed assets register
• Looking to constantly develop and improve whilst working to the strict compliance requirements of the public sector
• Manage the process of change, ensuring that staff are effectively engaged

Successful candidates will need

• ACCA, ACA AND CIMA qualified
• Capital and fixed assets experience
• Effective leadership skills that would allow the individual to work collaboratively as well as independently to deliver results
• To be competent in financial analysis with an ability to balance workloads to deliver a high profile programme of work
• Change management experience would be desirable
