Part Time Cook

ASA Recruitment are looking for dedicated part time Cooks for roles in care homes, children’s units and other similar services. We have great part time roles available around Glasgow in areas such as Govan, Shawlands, Pollok, Balornock and Baillieston for experienced and passionate Cooks.

You’ll be doing:

• Preparing and cooking balanced and nutritious meals while following varied menus.
• Cooking delicious meals which are suitable for special diets, e.g. liquid, diabetic, low sodium etc.
• Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness, recording food temperatures and upholding excellent standards in quality and hygiene.

Chef Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months experience working as a Chef or Cook in the UK.
• An excellent working knowledge of Food Standards including safe food temperatures and food storage procedures.
• Must have up to date Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness certificates.
• Must have or be willing to undergo a PVG check.
