Are you passionate about computing and technology and looking for a new challenge within the IT sector?

ASA are looking for an ELK Developer to work within the public sector in Scotland. This contract opportunity would last 6 months with the possibility of further funding and best suit someone comfortable working with ELK stack to provide analytics to internal service teams.

The Test Analyst Role:

• In-depth knowledge of cyber security.
• Understanding of AWS infrastructure, Packer, Terraform, Inspect and other DevOps tools.
• Develop analytics to meet customer requirements.
• Develop dashboards to meet customer requirements.
• On board new data and logging streams to the ELK platform.
• Management and administration of current ELK platform.
• ElasticSearch Configuration, Management, Upgrades etc.
• Logstash configuration and grok patterns writing and review.
• Beats configuration and management on conjunction with Logstash.
• Develop and refine customer queries and thresholding.
• Configure monitor and manage integration to our service management tools.
• Develop custom reporting.
• Understanding of Protective or Transactional Monitoring.
• Work with Social Security Chief Digital Officer teams (in particular DevOps, Digital Risk & Cyber and Integration) to translate requirements, develop the ELK platform and integrate with the supporting AWS infrastructure.

Successful candidates for the Analyst role will need:

• Understanding of AWS infrastructure, Packer, Terraform, Inspect and other DevOps tools.
