Are you an experienced Content Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity in Edinburgh?
Our client, a well-known public sector organisation, is seeking a Content Manager for a 10 month contract.
You will work within the Project Team to support the creation, redevelopment and migration of content from their existing intranet to a new SharePoint Online platform.
Requirements:
· Strong Background in a content creation and/or editorial role
· Knowledge of content management systems, ideally SharePoint Online
· An understanding of online writing procedures, such as brand/editorial style, content structure, accessibility and Search engine optimisation
· Experience of working in a project and team environment
· Experience of working on an intranet or website migration or development project
· Ability to take on responsibility and use initiative to prioritise and work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Ability to engage professionally and positively with all business areas
· An understanding of the importance of the intranet as a key internal communication channel
· Understanding or experience of working with the public sector
· A Basic Disclosure certificate
